Dr Nicoletta Adamo MD PhD
Consultant Child & Adolescent Psychiatrist
Dr Nicoletta Adamo is a Consultant Child & Adolescent Psychiatrist (medical doctor) in the specialist service for children with Autism and complex neurodevelopmental disorders such as ADHD, at the prestigious South London and Maudsley NHS Trust (SLaM) as well as specialising in these conditions at her work here at The Giaroli Centre.
Dr Adamo has also worked alongside fellow psychiatrist Dr Omer Moghraby both here at The Dr Giaroli Centre and in her NHS role.
She has a special interest in neurodevelopmental conditions (such as ADHD and Autism) and how they interact with each other and with mental health difficulties. She completed her PhD at the Institute of Psychiatry King’s College London (IoPPN).
Dr Adamo specialises in cognitive behavioural research in children and young people with ADHD and Autism, and has researched the effects of pharmacological interventions for ADHD. Dr Adamo has published extensively.

Dr Adamo collaborates in a multi-disciplinary setting to deliver either the ADOS-2 (Autism Diagnostic Observation Schedule or the ADI-R (Autism Diagnostic Interview Revised for formal diagnoses of Autism where required.
Dr Adamo’s General Medical Council (GMC) registration is 7452674 and she is a Affiliate Specialist member of the Royal College of Psychiatrists (RCPsych).
